200/100/50GE Storage Initiator Cards
FAC, powered by Fungible DPU, are designed to deliver unmatched performance in processing data-centric intrastructure services. With the availabiity of Storage Initiator, the FAC creates a direct attached NVMe storage experience while leveraging an NVMe/TCP storage system. Applications using Storage Initiator running on FAC will see increased availability of CPU cores, increasing performance without sacrificing utilization, security, resiliency, or accessibility.
Benefits
The cards manage all NVMe/TCP communication for the host, and in turn present native NVMe devices to the host operating system using standard NVMe drivers.
